“Love one another as I have loved you”
Our Values and Mission Statement
At St Chad’s RC Primary School, our values and mission are at the heart of everything we do. Guided by Christ’s teachings, we strive to create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child is known, valued and supported to grow academically, spiritually and personally.
Our mission statement reflects our shared commitment to living out the Gospel values in our daily school life, fostering strong relationships between pupils, staff, families and the wider community. Through collaboration, hard work, aspiration, determination and a desire to strive for excellence, we aim to help every child develop their unique gifts and fulfil their God-given potential.
Every Catholic school has a mission statement that encapsulates its distinctive role or core purpose. A mission is a special goal or purpose, one that is accompanied by a strong conviction or calling.
At St Chad’s, we consulted with staff, parents and children to review and update the mission statement to ensure that it was meaningful and relevant. The newly revised mission statement puts faith at the heart of all we do at school and incorporates our school motto. Our new statement reflects the diversity of our school and speaks of tolerance and respect that we understand as important Gospel values. Central to a successful education is the relationship between school, home, parish and community. Our new mission statement links to our learning values as we know that God wants us to use our talents to live life to the full but to also benefit others. The mission is now displayed throughout the school.
Our Mission Statement
With Christ at the heart of our school, we welcome all within our community, respecting one another and celebrating our differences. We will uphold and spread the Gospel Values so that through aiming high everyone fulfils their potential and lives life to the full, growing in faith and love.
