School Uniform at St Chad’s RC Primary
At St Chad’s, we believe that wearing a school uniform helps children to feel part of our community. It creates a sense of pride, belonging and readiness for learning, while making sure that all pupils are dressed in a smart and practical way.We thank parents and carers for supporting our uniform expectations and helping children to represent our school with pride.
Our School Uniform
- Navy sweatshirt with the St Chad’s logo (or a plain navy jumper)
- Black or grey trousers, skirt, or pinafore
- Sky blue polo shirt
- Grey, black or white socks (no coloured socks)
- Grey or black tights (no leggings)
- Sensible black shoes or ankle boots
- Plain navy or black headscarves (must be fitted and not too long for safety)
- Summer options: black or grey shorts for boys, or blue gingham dresses for girls
- Wellingtons for outdoor teaching
P.E. Kit
- Plain white t-shirt
- Plain blue or black shorts / jogging bottoms
- Black pumps or trainers
Keeping Uniform Affordable
We are committed to keeping uniform costs as low as possible for families.
- Our uniform is available at a reasonable cost.
- We offer Swap Shops where families can pick up second-hand uniform items for a small donation.
- We avoid making unnecessary changes to our uniform to help parents manage costs.
